Dog: Aussie/Catahoula mix Found: Nov 3, 2011 Rescuer: Larry Ellman or Dr. Robt. Horn Contact Info: Send Email • 512-740-0986 UPDATE 11/15/11 - AT BASTROP SHELTER NOW. Grown male Aussie/Catahoula mix mostly grey with white in the face and chest. Has a tail. The dog (and his running buddy a dog that looks to be mostly Catahoula) has been hanging around a piece of undeveloped land on Thousand Oaks Rd. in Cedar Creek. Both dogs are wary of people and have only recently allowed anybody to get near them. They still run off when approached but will eat food left for them and allow the provider to watch from a distance. It takes a while to get them to emerge from the woods. This was my fifth visit to the property and the first time I could get pictures. The other dog is more skittish and would not allow any pictures. The second dog looks so much like my missing Catahoula that it was disturbing, but neither dog is one of Larry Ellman's missing Catahoulas. ONCE AGAIN THESE DOGS ARE NOT LARRY ELLMAN'S MISSING DOGS. Small white poodle or maltese wondered out of the woods on 10/1/11 on Linda lane. She was rescued, fed, bathed, matts/burrs removed and she slept like a little angel last night. She likes cats and othe small dogs. Definitely an inside dog (or should be!). She has a collar and no tags. Please call to describe. She is also chipped by bastop shelter but her owner's number is disconnected. No name of pet owne was given to mer, but they said chip is registered to 246 PINE HILL LOOP. Need phone number. That house is burned to the ground. I don't think property owner and pet owner have same name. Property owner is Lisi, and they live in Rhode Island. Comments (7)

I called the number and it has been disconnected. Looks like a German short hair or blue heeler without the tail cropped. Friendly, kind of brown and black with spots, long ears. 706 Waller, Montgomery, & Grimes Dog: Male German Shepherd (Magnolia area) Found: Sep 19, 2011 Rescuer: Jon Combs FOUND: Large male german sheperd found 9/19 walking on Tamina Rd between FM1488 and FM2978 (Magnolia area). No collar/tags, no microchip, nearby vet didn't recognize him. Very well-behaved, quiet, gets along with my pack like he's known them all his life, currently watching my cats through their gate. I left my name and number with the vet, Bear Branch Animal Hospital, so if you or someone you know is missing a beautiful GSD, please either contact me on FB or through the vet. Owner will have to identify any special characteristics, dog will have to react to owner, usual deal. I can't imagine this guy doesn't have a family searching for him. Comments (3)

Here's the best picture i can get of the momma and the location was near pine tree loop in kc estates, i just cant afford them, but didn't want them to be left to die or get killed at a shelter. Dog: Yellow Labrador, young (BASTROP or LEANDER) Found: Sep 15, 2011 Rescuer: Suzanne Piccola Contact Info: Send Email • 512-905-1932 My husband and I found a yellow Labrador 8 - 8.5 mo. old (confirmed by vet) with a tight collar and no tags on Williamson Co. Rd 461 in front of our farm yesterday (Sept. 15). Other than being a little skinny, he seemed in great shape. A possible burn spot on one of his front left pads is the only injury we can find. The vet also scanned him for microchips---none. He's a sweet puppy, and is learning sit, stay, etc. By his behavior, he seems used to being close by a man (stayed near my husband all morning while we worked on fence), plays with our two older girls (a Golden Ret. and a Lab/mix). He's content to stay outside day or night, but enjoys human and dog company more. Seems mostly lonely and hungry. I have 3 or 4 pictures I took of him, if those will help. Comments (2)
